Dr. Ann wrote her first grant to fund a space simulation when she was a teacher in suburban Cleveland, OH. Since then, she has secured state grants that supported technology integration into K-12 schools, an ARPA grant that supported DoD schools, and most recently more than $4,000,000 in funding through Race to the Top grants.
Dr. Ann was an award winning teacher who served in the classroom for nearly 20 years. Since leaving the K-12 classroom, she continues to provide professional development opportunities for classroom teachers and administrators, and teaches graduate courses in instructional technology and educational leadership.
For the last 10 years, Dr. Ann has served as a principal, superintendent and district-level administrator. She believes all students are capable of learning at high levels and is passionate about the role parents play in education. Ann builds partnerships with community organizations to help meet the needs of her students and families.
